Athena West is a former television reporter who has always had a love of writing. She moved to Franklin, TN with her husband and two children in 2014 and it was the best decision they could have made. She fell in love with her town and was determined to go from "new resident" to "resident expert" as quickly as possible. It was only natural to blend her love of storytelling with her love of Franklin by joining Lifestyle Publications. She gets pleasure from telling the stories of the people, businesses and events happening in Franklin. In her spare time, she can be found around Nashville enjoying the music scene with her husband, or cheering her kids on, whether it's on the ball field, golf course, hockey rink, or at a cheer competition.
